Features

Illumination

The cordless LED illumination achieves a homogeneous image background and good contrast without the need of a power cable. The minimized heat development facilitates the examination of living samples in biology. User friendly built-in carrying handle allows easy storage and transport in the classroom.

Human-Centric Design

The power on/off button is strategically placed at the front of the microscope for easy access, based on a deep understanding of user needs. This thoughtful design ensures users can conveniently turn the microscope on or off without having to reach around, streamlining their workflow and minimizing unnecessary movements.

Durable for Daily Routine Use

The microscope is built for the demands of daily routine work. Its hard-coated stage ensures safe and precise evaluation of diverse samples. The standard eyepiece tubes feature a 30° viewing angle for maximum comfort, and the interpupillary distance is easily
adjustable from 48-75mm to suit multiple users. The trinocular tube option with a 20/80 light split allows for the integration of digital camera systems, enabling the presentation of microscopic images to larger lab groups.

EC Plan Optics for Reliable Imaging

The Infinity Plan Achromatic objectives, ranging from 4X to 100X magnification, deliver enhanced image contrast for both the human eye and digital camera sensors through the photo port. The N-WF eyepieces offer a standard 10X/20 mm field of view and feature
diopter adjustment (+/- 5dpt) for both eyes, with the option to use reticles for added precision.

LED Illumination

The microscope is equipped with a 0.5W LED light source in a Fixed-Koehler setup. LEDs have become increasingly important in teaching environments due to their long lifespan and reduced heat compared to halogen bulbs. The microscope comes with a
standard condenser featuring NA 1.25 and an aperture diaphragm for viewing non-stained samples. This can be replaced with an ergonomic turret condenser, which includes all necessary phase rings and a Darkfield stop.

Anti-Fungus Treatment

Each component of the NexusLab microscope, from the frame to the stage and even the smallest internal parts, receives specialized anti-fungal treatment during manufacturing. This treatment is applied to all surfaces, including hidden and hard-to-reach areas, providing complete protection against fungal spores and preventing their growth.
